Palestine Action to be declared as global terrorists by Donald Trump_t

Palestine Action is set to be declared a global terrorist group by Donald Trump.

In the US, the British campaign group will join the likes of terror groups including Hamas, al-Qaeda and Islamic State.

Under the new rules, supporters of the organisation would be banned from entering the US for life.

Palestine Action’s US assets, such as bank accounts and properties, will be frozen, while Americans will be prohibited from engaging with the group.

White House officials have argued that supporters of the protest group have promoted “acts of terrorism” on social media.

Armed with their online presence, they say Palestine Action urges others to carry out similar acts in countries around the world, including across the pond.

A US official told The Telegraph: “The UK-based Palestine Action has supported numerous acts of terrorism since July 2020, including acts that have physically injured UK law enforcement personnel, as well as acts intended to intimidate lawful commercial enterprise and coerce the British Government.

“Palestine Action has promoted its acts of terrorism on social media, encouraging the use of similar tactics internationally, including within the United States and along the US-Mexican border.

“Violations of US sanctions may result in the imposition of civil or criminal penalties on US and foreign persons.”

Co-founders of the terror group, Richard Barnard and Huda Ammori, would be banned for life if Mr Trump commits to the ruling.

Other sanctions imposed on the group will prohibit US citizens from donating money, goods or services to Palestine Action.

British supporters of the group, which has been proscribed in the UK, could be slapped with damning sanctions, including visa bans, it is understood.

Since the October 7 2023 attacks, where Hamas terrorists took hostage, murdered and raped hundreds of innocent civilians in Israel, Palestine Action has committed a campaign against “Zionism” in the UK.

In one instance, back in June, four Palestine Action activists were thrown behind bars after they caused £1.2million worth of damage at an Israeli defence firm, Elbit Systems factory, near Bristol

Charlotte Head, 30, Samuel Corner, 23, Leona Kamio, 30, and Fatema Rajwani, 21, were convicted of criminal damage after they broke into the site.

Corner was sentenced to seven years and eight months in jail for criminal damage and for shattering a police officer’s spine with a sledgehammer.

The US version of the group, Palestine Action US, sought to disrupt and vandalise firms linked to Israel.

Becoming “Unity of Fields” two years ago, the group went on to target the US Government as a “militant propaganda front”.

Violent protests taking place in the heart of Los Angeles, where furious demonstrators celebrate attacks on police forces, were later found to have been assisted by the same group.

Last month, Marco Rubio, the Secretary of State, demanded a worldwide crackdown on “left wing terror” perpetuated by such groups.

He said: “The very idea that far-Left terrorism could be a serious threat is treated as a Right-wing fever dream, or worse, as a dangerous fascist conspiracy.”
