THIS is the moment a cop punched a suspect nine times during an arrest – as he faces the sack.
PC Richard Williams, 44, was accused of gripping Steven Clark, 34, around the neck as he restrained him in Porthmadog, North Wales.

Footage shows the suspect being told to “stop resisting” while PC Williams repeatedly delivered punches to the side of his head.
PC Williams insisted the force used was necessary after claiming Clark had already knocked a female colleague to the ground.
If found guilty, the officer could face the sack from the force.
PC Williams told a jury he hit Clark with “distraction blows” because he could not reach his baton or taser during the arrest.
He said: “I had my hands around him, which naturally led to a headlock, but he continued to resist – he was pulling away from me.

The footage was taken after PC Williams had been called to a domestic incident in May 2023.
He is set to face a five-day misconduct hearing on September 14 at North Wales Police headquarters.
The listed allegations state: “It is alleged that the force used upon the male by PC Williams was unnecessary, disproportionate and unreasonable.
“It is alleged that PC Williams breached the standards of professional behaviour relating to use of force, authority, respect and courtesy, and discreditable conduct.”
