Prince Harry‘s recent comments about his desire for reconciliation have highlighted a major contradiction: the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s projects are likely to make healing rifts difficult, according to a royal commentator. The 42-year-old recently sat down with GQ Magazine for an interview in which he spoke about the ongoing feud with his family, his experience with grief, and the real reason he decided to move back to the UK with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their children.

But Eric Schiffer, the chair of Reputation Management Consultants, set out his thoughts in a Newsweek piece about Harry’s “money-making projects” being the “obstacle to reconciliation.” He said: “If you want to build trust with family who don’t trust you and think you’re unworthy of trust, you certainly don’t broadcast it in a GQ article that says look at me and tries to work on his image.” It has been reported that Harry was paid for the interview, with the amount reportedly around £186,901 ($250,000). Harry said reconciliation was the most important thing before adding: “Some people don’t want it to work out. I want it to work out.”

His spokesperson has since claimed that the comment was not a swipe at his brother, Prince William.

Prince Harry’s sheer hypocrisy has just been exposed – he needs to shut up!

Prince Harry has been accused of “hypocrisy” over his calls for reconciliation with the Royal Family after years of very public disputes with his relatives. The Duke of Sussex has repeatedly spoken about his strained relationship with his family since he and Meghan Markle stepped back as senior working royals in 2020 and moved to the US.

The issue was discussed by Express Royal Editor Emily Ferguson and commentator Carole Malone on the Daily Express’s weekly Royals Unscripted video podcast. Emily said Harry would have to acknowledge the hurt he had caused if he genuinely wanted to rebuild bridges with his family.

Royal expert reveals King Charles’s ‘real plan’ for dealing with Prince Harry

Prince Harry is being “very naive” if he believes the Royal Family is ready to welcome him back into the fold, a royal historian has claimed. Speaking out on the ongoing rift between the Duke of Sussex and the Firm, Andrew Lownie suggested that Buckingham Palace has adopted a calculated, hands-off approach toward Harry.

He said: “Prince Harry is very naive to think the rest of the Royal Family will bring him to their breast.”

Addressing the Firm’s broader stance towards the estranged royal, he added bluntly: “The policy with Harry is to basically let him hang himself by giving him enough rope to do so.”

The ‘real reason’ Prince William is livid at Prince Harry as feud rages on

The feud between Prince William and Prince Harry is raging on following the Duke of Sussex’s return to the UK in August. A royal expert has revealed the reported reason why William is finding it “impossible to forgive” his brother. It’s believed the pair last saw each other in August 2024, but have not spoken directly since September 2022.

It’s reported the Prince of Wales has not forgiven Harry for stepping down from his duties as a senior working member of the Royal Family in 2020. William is said to be unhappy that his brother left him to cope with the pressure of being the next King alone.

Speaking on The Royals podcast, host Roya Nikkhah said: “The extra pressure that Harry and Meghan, and their family, stepping away from it has put on William’s own family is something I’ve always been told is something that he’ll find impossible to forgive.”

Queen Camilla sends defiant message against abuse

Queen Camilla has delivered a defiant and deeply moving plea to end the stigma surrounding violence against women.

Her Majesty spoke about a vital cause that is close to her heart during a day-long conference in Wiltshire, near her private home, on Friday.”Talking is what we have to do,” Camilla told delegates. “Domestic abuse was a taboo subject that nobody talked about, it was hush-hush, but now everybody is getting up there and talking about it. And hopefully, if we keep on talking and having gatherings like this we will, I don’t know how many years, but we might be able to put an end to it forever.”

Prince William felt ‘exposed and insecure’ during TV appearance

Prince William reportedly felt “exposed and insecure” during a TV appearance, according to a body language expert. The Prince of Wales delighted Graham Norton’s audience when he appeared on the BBC talk show to discuss his Earthshot Prize.

Body language expert Inbaal Honigman said: “On Norton’s sofa, [William] is on edge. His legs are crossed, which is a protective cue.

“Not only are they crossed, but they’re crossed at the knee, which keeps his whole body smaller and narrower. William is such a tall person, so it is interesting to watch him try to take up less space, try to shrink his form.”

Meghan Markle compared to Wallis Simpson in brutal four-word takedown

Meghan Markle has been savaged by royal fans after a recent photograph sparked fresh comparisons to Wallis Simpson. The Duchess of Sussex was pictured during an appearance in Nottingham.

Prince Harry and Meghan’s appearance was dubbed a success by some royal watchers, while others criticised it for its similarities to a royal visit.

However, some social media users pointed out the striking physical similarities between Meghan and the late Duchess of Windsor, with one critic issuing a four-word takedown, claiming Simpson outclassed her “by leaps and bounds”.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ‘can be forgiven’ if they do one thing

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle can still be forgiven by the Royal Family following their public attacks, but only if they commit to one crucial condition, a former friend of the Duchess has claimed.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s relationship with the Firm got sour following their sensational exit, explosive Netflix docuseries and Harry’s bombshell memoir, Spare.

However, Nick Ede—a brand expert who was pals with Meghan before she married into the Royal Family in 2018—believes the door to reconciliation is not permanently closed.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ‘will annoy’ Princess Kate if they do one thing

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could “annoy” Princess Catherine if they do one thing now that they are back in the UK, a royal expert has said.

In August, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved back to Britain – the country they left in 2020 when they gave up royal duty.

While they are not working royals now, they are back in Harry’s home country, and they are believed to be set on stepping out to carry out charitable visits.

This was seen last week, when the pair visited a few charities in Nottingham and even carried out a royal-style public walkabout.

Princess Kate won’t be ‘distracted’ by Prince Harry and Meghan – ‘new perspective’

Princess Catherine will not let Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s actions “distract” her from her royal work, a royal expert has said.

In August, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex – who are not working royals – relocated back to Britain, marking their first time living in the country since they quit royal duty in 2020.

While they are no longer working royals, this has not stopped them from acting like they are.

Meghan Markle faces crushing blow as Princess Kate makes unexpected move

By Alicia Liberty

ANALYSIS: “Princess Catherine has been quietly making some rather interesting moves in the fashion department, and after years of watching her champion recycled favourites, I can’t help but wonder whether something bigger is unfolding behind the palace doors.

The Princess of Wales, 44, has recently showcased a striking selection of designer pieces, putting some of Britain’s most celebrated fashion houses firmly in the spotlight at a time when Meghan Markle’s relationships with British labels are coming under scrutiny.”

A leading champion of family businesses brands the Government’s EU push a ‘weapon of distraction’ to cover Labour’s lack of leadership and economic growth

Britain faces “economic disaster” and the death of the family business if Labour continues to pursue “anti-growth” policies, the chairman of the Independent Business Network (IBN) has warned. John Longworth, writing in a Budget submission, urges a radical change of course and makes the case that rejoining the European Union – a long-term possibility floated by Andy Burnham – would be “insanity”.

In a damning assessment of Labour’s record in power, he said: “There appears to be a blind attachment in the corridors of power to tax and spend, and to ideological policies such as net zero, the direct attack on property ownership and inheritance, and welfare profligacy. A continuation of this approach risks economic disaster and the demise of family businesses. Rather than address the real issues of government policy and the economy, the Prime Minister has chosen instead to pursue rejoining the European Union, raising false hope that this would solve Britain’s problems. It would introduce years of uncertainty and conflict. Quite apart from the enormous cost of such a policy, tying the UK to a failing economic model would be most unlikely to boost our fortunes. It is such insanity that the only rational explanation is that it is a ‘weapon of distraction’, designed to divert attention from the absence of both leadership and economic growth that besets our government.”

The IBN is calling for a reversal of the hike in employers’ National Insurance introduced by then-Chancellor Rachel Reeves as well as the preservation of zero hours contracts. It states in its submission to the Treasury: “For family businesses, flexible hiring can create an entry point into employment. A restaurant owner who needs help on busy weekends may be willing to train an inexperienced local applicant for a small number of shifts. If trade grows, that person may gain more hours and eventually move into a regular role.”

Alongside VAT reforms, it is calling for loans for young entrepreneurs. “Britain should give young people a fair chance to turn skill and initiative into a business, whether or not their families can write the first cheque,” the IBN states.

Brendan Chilton, the organisation’s chief executive, said: “We believe that family-owned and family-run businesses must have a greater voice in public policy and can thrive outside the EU. One of the primary reasons for leaving the European Union was to ensure that we had the ability to create the most dynamic and competitive environment for businesses and start-ups. We also left the European Union so that we could embark on our own trade deals, securing advantages for British businesses, access to new markets and flexibility to help with the cost of living. We must not reverse that decision, and the Independent Business Network will fight for our sovereignty and for maintaining our independence outside the EU.”
