King Charles has been dealt another huge blow with regard to US president Donald Trump, this time live on Channel 5 show Storm and Alexis. Hosts Storm Huntley and Alexis Conran were live in the studio with guest Lizzie Cundy when they received a call from Robin, a member of the public who is worried about Charles’ upcoming visit to the US.
Conran kicked off the conversation by asking: “What are your thoughts? Would it be too risky for the King?” as Robin replied: “It would be very, very risky. I for one would cancel my lifelong support of the said Royal Family. After what Trump has been up to the last few weeks, and what he’s been saying about the British people, the British forces and all the rest of it.”
Conran pressed: “Are you of the opinion that the King shouldn’t go altogether?” as the caller clarified: “That’s it. I’ve got all the sympathy regarding the Epstein problem.”
Huntley chimed in to say: “Well interestingly, Robin, you might actually be on the other side of the argument because I was thinking about this… King Charles is in a bit of a predicament here.
“His going over to America might not be the best PR in the world because of some of Trump’s actions and Britain isn’t very supportive of Trump.

“However, if Charles spins it and almost makes it about the victims and about showing allegiance with them and sharing our sympathies and talking about what we’re actively doing in Britain to stop this sort of thing… that might actually change the story and allow Charles to sort of dictate the narrative and steer it away from Trump.”
Cundy said: “Don’t forget, Trump is also linked with these Epstein files as well,” though Conran was quick to point out: “According to Trump he has been completely exonerated.”
Huntley was keen to know “how it could possibly be dangerous or risky” for the King, as Conran doubled down: “What if one of the victims really challenges him, says ‘What did you know, why did you pay money to silence a woman?’ Could that not be really embarrassing?”
