Donald Trump has addressed his true feelings towards Volodymyr Zelenskyy as tensions between Ukraine and Russia continue to rise

Donald Trump has hit out at Volodymyr Zelenskyy branding him “not a good guy” in a new blistering attack. It comes just days after the pair fell out after the Ukrainian leader branded a US deal to buy Russian diesel a “gift” to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Trump and Zelenskyy’s are in the worst rift in months after the President announced that Vladimir Putin had agreed to release 300,000 tonnes of diesel immediately “to the American and global marketplace” followed by several other shipments.
Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform at the time: “I have just concluded a highly successful discussion with President Vladimir Putin, of Russia, wherein it was agreed that Russia will immediately supply over 300,000 Tons of Diesel Fuel to the American and Global Marketplace, another 500,000 Tons during the month of November, and 1,000,000 Tons immediately thereafter. Additionally, based on the condition of their Diesel Refineries, Russia will then deliver, within a short period of time, 3,000,000 Tons of Diesel Fuel.
He added: “Lower prices for Americans, especially our Great Farmers, Ranchers, and Truckers, is my Greatest Priority. This is a very big and important announcement.”

The move sparked a furious response from Volodymyr Zelensky, who accused Trump of handing the Kremlin a “gift” and prolonging the war. He wrote on social media that the deal “plays into Russia’s hands – allowing it to kill more, wage war for longer, have even less respect for America, and inflict even greater losses and damage on the world.”
The row has been worsened by Zelenskyy’s order to his troops to target a refinery in Russia’s Ryazan region, south east of Moscow, which serves five per cent of the country’s output.
In a new blow to Zelenskyy Trump has branded him “not a good guy” in an interview with Newsmax.
In the interview Trump addressed the Russia – Ukraine war and was then asked “Have you lost faith in him [Zelenskyy]?” To which Trump replied: “Well, I think they’re going to end up with a settlement of some kind, they’re not going to do it with him, he doesn’t want to settle. He says he wants to settle but he doesnt. No I’m not a big fan of Zelenskyy they’ve destroyed that country.”
Trump went on to say: “Putin hates Zelenskyy and Zelenskyy hates Putin and when you have that kind of hatred it’s very hard to get something settled; but that’s a war that should have never started.”
Asked if the war will end before he leaves office Trump said: ” It should end soon I think they actually both would like to see it end. But I think I find Zelenskyy more difficult to deal with than Putin.”
Andy Burnham accused of ‘inciting disorder’ as 781 migrants cross Channel in single day
Andy Burnham is accused of inciting disorder after a record 781 migrants crossed the Channel in one day, while Reform UK warns numbers are accelerating.

Andy Burnham has been accused of inciting disorder across the country because of the way his Government is handling the migration crisis.
It comes after his administration suffered its worst day on record, with 781 illegal migrants breaking into the country in unlawful Channel crossings in a single day.
The record-breaking influx also saw two boats arrive on UK shores undetected, sparking fury in Westminster and triggering threats of protests at migrant sites.
Horrendous footage and pictures, seen in Thursday’s Daily Express, also show what appears to be a man abandoning a child in the water so he can climb aboard a crowded dinghy.
Reform UK’s Shadow Home Secretary Zia Yusuf warned that numbers were “accelerating” despite Home Office claims that the overall total had reduced.
He told Good Morning Britain that the UK has had “north of 210,000 people turn up on our beaches illegally in the past eight years” and warned “people’s lives are being turned upside down”.
Those comments were in relation to the village of Piddington, which recently hosted a symbolic referendum to leave the UK in protest against the housing of migrants at a nearby base.
Mr Yusuf said residents “are terrified that they are about to be outnumbered 10 to 1 by illegal migrant men”.
Home Office data shows a decline in the number of crossings this year, but critics say the overall figure remains far too high, with an insufficient number of people being sent back to their countries of origin.

In a scathing attack on the Prime Minister, Mr Yusuf said: “Andy Burnham is inciting disorder in Britain by wielding the state’s monopoly on violence to impose unvetted men from countries like Afghanistan, Syria and Eritrea into local communities.”
He added: “This is unprecedented. I am worried the country is heading to a dark place.”
His remarks refer to footage showing coaches used to transfer migrants from the coast to immigration centres being accompanied by a police escort.
There have been mounting protests by masked men near locations used to hold migrants, though police support for security reasons is not uncommon.
